1. When you need ink/toner, fill out this form: https://tinyurl.com/woodwardink. It emails me whenever a new request is submitted. Do not send me an email, call me, or stop by my classroom. (New faculty members: yes, Woodward provides you with a classroom printer and ink/toner. These printers should not be used as copiers — Woodward provides those, too… and a professionally-staffed copy center — but you shouldn’t feel guilty about using them to meet your daily classroom printing needs. Disneyworld.)

2. Orders will be processed once per week. If I receive an order for something that is in stock, I will deliver it to the Woodruff mail room. I will continue to stock the most common varieties of ink/toner, but there are over a hundred currently being used in the Upper School. Stocking everything is neither feasible nor cost-effective. If I receive an order for something that is not in stock, I will order it for you. It takes up to a week for shipments to be delivered. Therefore, please allow up to two weeks from the time you’ve submitted your request for your order to be delivered.

3. When I have what you’ve ordered, I will put it in the Woodruff mail room for you. If the ink/toner itself doesn’t fit in your mail slot, I will leave a note so that you know to check the table. There will be no in-person pickup because the computer lab no longer exists. Ink/toner will be stored in a classroom and I will only be there while Latin classes are in session.

4. If “please allow up to two weeks for delivery” causes you a great deal of anxiety, please plan ahead and place orders before you are completely out of ink/toner. Most of you already do a good job with this, but a few of you seem to suffer through one or two high-stress ink emergencies each school year. I will not be able to drop everything to deal with these emergencies this year because of my other responsibilities. Please plan accordingly and please work together to share printers when necessary.

Thanks,

Bill Batterman
